Web Security Operations & Platform Engineer (f/m/d) Part-time/Full-time

What you'll be doing ##

• You help in our vulnerability management efforts, platform support, assessments as well as remediation activities
• You support engineering efforts to modernize our current platform setup and develop and implement solutions for platform automation
• You help engineering efforts related to DevOps pipelines, tooling and processes
• Ability to serve as the primary liaison to the business and application development teams and coordinate, design and implement security solutions
• Research trends, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and measure the effectiveness of our security controls
• Contribute to incident response, vulnerability handling, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and exploitability analysis of our security platform (Nevis, Nginx, Akamai)  

What you'll bring to the role ##

• Degree in computer science or business information technologies with a specialisation or additional qualification in information security
• Several years of experience in the web security domain in an operations or engineering role
• Experience in DevSecOps and Automation
• In-depth understanding of current technologies and threats as well as possible countermeasures especially in Cloud and Web Security
• Engeneering mindset and coding skills
• Infrastructure skills are a plus
• Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, perseverance and good conceptual skills
• Good knowledge of German and English
