JOB PURPOSE ##

Supporting the analysis, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement of enterprise network security controls through security policy engineering, traffic analysis, security assessments, and implementation support activities.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES ##

•    Analyze and optimize security policies across enterprise security platforms. 
•    Support network security design initiatives and secure connectivity projects. 
•    Perform traffic flow analysis and application visibility assessments. 
•    Validate security controls and assess policy effectiveness. 
•    Support IDS/IPS implementation, tuning, optimization, and performance assessments. 
•    Participate in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities. 
•    Produce technical documentation, findings, and recommendations. 
•    Contribute to cybersecurity improvement initiatives, standards, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience) ##

•    Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security, Security Infrastructure, or Network Engineering.
•    Experience within multinational or complex enterprise environments is considered an advantage.
•    Fluent Italian (written and spoken) required.
•    Fluent English (written and spoken) required.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and technical documentation tools.
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
•    Relevant certifications are considered an advantage, including: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Analyst (PCNSA), Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA), Check Point Certified    Security Administrator (CCSA), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE), Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Network+.
•    Competence 1: Security Policy Engineering, Analysis, and Optimization.
•    Competence 2: Traffic Flow Analysis, Application Visibility, and Secure Connectivity.
•    Competence 3: Security Control Validation, Threat Prevention, and IDS/IPS Technologies.
•    Competence 4: Technical Troubleshooting, Documentation, and Security Posture Improvement.

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.

Contract 

\-    Type of contract: Permanent

\-    Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remotely

\-    Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): -Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l-armamento privato- - sez. personale di terra

\-    Gross annual salary (RAL): between -30.000 - -37.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments

\-    Meal vouchers: worth -8 per on-site working day

The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate-s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
