Our human\-sized team offers an accountant / secretary the opportunity to work at the heart of operations: supporting bookkeeping and financial reporting, assisting with administrative and corporate documentation, and coordinating office and governance processes in close collaboration with senior management. You will evolve in a multilingual, multi\-cultural setting, interacting with banks, investors and service providers, while contributing to projects that have tangible economic and social relevance in the real economy.
Accounting Clerk/Secretary
Overall duties and responsabilities:
Support day\-to\-day bookkeeping: supplier invoices, expense claims, payments, basic reconciliations and month\-end support.
Prepare VAT return on a quaterly basis
Support with auditors (finance / HR / taxes)Handle office administration and secretarial work: mail and call handling, document formatting, filing, and meeting.
Assist with HR administration: maintaining employee files and HR documents, tracking absences/holidays.
Liaise with banks, service providers and internal teams to gather information, clarify accounting/HR, questions and ensure smooth operations in a small, international office
Notifies management of any anomaly, situation or particular problem and, as necessary, proposes changes or improvements to the work flow within the unit.
Profile :
Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent, with initial experience in accounting / administration in Switzerland.
3 to 4 years minimum experience preferably in a professional accounting/audit firm, bank, asset manager or commodities good command of Excel and standard office tools; experience with accounting software is an asset.
Very strong attention to detail, organisation and discretion; comfortable working in French and English in a multicultural environment.
Must have the legal right to work in Switzerland (valid work/residence permit or Swiss/EU citizenship), and be able to work on site in Geneva on a regular basis.
