Legal Counsel \- Broad In\-house Role \| Zurich

For a well\-established, privately owned Swiss group, we are looking for a versatile and business\-minded Legal Counsel to join a lean and collaborative Legal team.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will take ownership of a broad range of legal matters, including complex commercial contracts and strategic business projects, while working closely with stakeholders across a diverse organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a legal generalist who enjoys variety, autonomy and being close to the business.

Your responsibilities

Provide pragmatic, business\-oriented legal advice across the organisation.

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including complex commercial contracts.

Advise on varied matters across corporate, real estate, leasing, insurance, finance and marketing.

Support the General Counsel on strategic projects and complex legal matters.

Advise on data protection and privacy matters as part of the broader Legal remit.

Contribute to improving Legal processes, templates and ways of working, including Legal Tech and AI solutions.

Your profile

Swiss law degree and approximately 4\-7 years of relevant legal experience.

Swiss Bar admission strongly preferred.

Experience gained both in a reputable law firm and an in\-house corporate environment.

Strong drafting and negotiation skills with experience in complex commercial agreements.

Broad legal expertise and confidence handling matters independently.

Pragmatic, hands\-on and commercially minded, with strong stakeholder skills.

Interest in data protection, Legal Tech, AI and process optimisation.

Fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
