.NET Software Engineer

Your main responsibilities:

Maintain, support, and further develop existing .NET desktop applications in combination with SQL Server.

Develop new software solutions using modern technologies (e.g., web applications, containerization, cloud services).

Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.

Analyze, evaluate, and implement business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Help shape and further develop the software architecture, including the selection of suitable technologies and tools.

Conduct code reviews, ensure software quality, and optimize application performance.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Support error analysis and troubleshooting in 2nd\- and 3rd\-level support.

Actively participate in an agile development team.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve development processes.

We are looking for a pragmatic and solution\-oriented personality who has a sense of ownership for the solutions we engineer.

Your profile:

Several years of experience in development with .NET Framework and .NET 5 or higher.

Solid knowledge of relational databases, including design, querying, and performance tuning.

Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

Proficient in object\-oriented programming and software design patterns.

A good sense for IT security and data protection in the context of software development.

Ability to liase with internal stakeholders and strong willingness to contribute to the company's success

Independent, structured, and solution\-oriented working style.

Nice to have:

Experience with AI development tools and methodologies

Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience in web application development with Angular

Basic knowledge of other programming languages such as Java and TypeScript.

Experience with test automation (unit, integration, UI tests) and test frameworks.

Experience in developing and maintaining desktop applications (e.g., WPF, WinForms)
