We are looking for a Deputy Head Nurse capable of combining flexibility, vision and a human touch.
Your mission
You are responsible for the operational organisation of care and the continuity of support for residents by ensuring efficient management of teams and resources. You will ensure the quality of services, the safety of care and the optimisation of planning. You actively participate in institutional projects and contribute to the continuous optimisation of care organisation. You ensure compliance with procedures, professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Supervise, support and accompany care teams in their daily practice.
- Ensure coordination between different stakeholders and promote interdisciplinary communication.
- Collaborate with relatives and care partners in a person-centred approach.
- Contribute to the quality and safety of care by monitoring indicators and improvement actions.
- Plan, coordinate and adjust care resources to ensure continuity of services in collaboration with various departments.
- Develop and monitor team schedules according to residents- needs and activity.
- Participate in the reception, integration and development of employees and trainees in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Support the Head of Support and Care in managing the department and act as deputy in their absence.
Profile sought
- Bachelor-s degree from a University of Applied Sciences in nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Additional training in management, team leadership or planning (an asset).
- Proven experience in nursing and team coordination.
- Knowledge of dementia.
- Excellent mastery of care organisation and schedule management.
- Knowledge of quality standards, legal requirements and good professional practices.
- Ability to manage priorities, unforeseen events and complex situations.
- Proximity leadership, collaborative spirit and ability to unite teams.
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in IT and planning tools.
