On behalf of one of our clients based in Fribourg, we are recruiting a Product Safety Specialist with a positive mindset, a passion for their work, and a strong team spirit. Ready for your next professional challenge? Then this opportunity is made for you!

Responsibilities :

As a Product Safety Specialist you apply and promote risk assessment processes according to EN ISO 12100 and you ensure their application. Moreover, you coordinate the implementation of product risk assessments with engineering department. Besides, you ensure the implementation of applicable product safety requirements, guideline and standards. In addition, you support communication with customers and external stakeholders (product safety, risk assessment). You identify potential risks (mechanical, electrical, software and technical aspects). You contribute to technical discussions and challenge existing solutions (safety perspective)

Profile:

• Diploma in technical area
• Several years' experience in an industrial area (machinery or heavy-duty equipment a plus)
• Basic knowledge in combustion engine technolgies
• Good understanding of broad technical (technical drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development
• Practical knowledge of product safety and risk assessment (EN ISO 12100)
• French and English
