Logistics Business Developer

What do logistics solutions need to look like to stand the test of time? In this role, you develop the portfolio of services in the letter and parcel business and combine market requirements, customer needs, economic viability and operational feasibility to create viable solutions. You help to create future-proof logistics services for Swiss Post!

How you make a difference

• You analyse market, customer and technology trends and turn these insights into new business opportunities and offers.
• In this role, you are responsible for developing existing services with a focus on customer benefits, marketability and economic viability.
• You use data and analyses to better understand customer requirements and develop differentiated solutions.
• You are responsible for developing business cases and sound decision-making principles for management and stakeholders.
• You work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, IT and Data Analytics and successfully implement projects.
• You develop new perspectives and solutions based on sound analysis and economic arguments.

 

What you have to offer

• You have a higher education qualification (UAS, university or similar) in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics or a related field.
• Your strengths include several years of experience in business development, service development, product management or strategic functions.
• You understand logistics processes and value chains and can assess the operational impact of strategic decisions.
• You also have strong analytical skills and experience in developing business cases and data-based decisions.
• You demonstrate initiative, strong implementation skills, pragmatism and the ability to bring different stakeholders on board around shared goals.
• You have a very good written and spoken command of a first national language and good proficiency in a second national language.
