Process Engineer - Suspended Minerals & Wet Processing

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Lead process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across suspended mineral and wet processing operations.

* Provide process engineering leadership for capital projects, including process design, flowsheet development, equipment specification, commissioning, and performance validation.

* Support scale\-up and industrialization of new products, technologies, and manufacturing processes.

* Analyze operational performance using process data, advanced analytics, and structured problem\-solving methodologies to identify sustainable improvement opportunities.

* Drive digitalization initiatives by implementing modern process monitoring, data analytics, and performance management tools.

* Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Product Development, and R\&D teams worldwide.

* Develop and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and process documentation.

* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and plant teams.

* Contribute to sustainability initiatives through improved resource utilization, water management, energy efficiency, and process reliability.

**TECHNICAL EXPERTISE**

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Precipitation and mineralization processes

* Slurry preparation and handling systems

* Media stirred mills and wet grinding technologies

* Flotation, filtration, thickening, and dewatering

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Minerals Processing, Chemistry, or a related technical field.

* 5\+ years of experience in chemical processing, mineral processing, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.

* Strong understanding of wet processing operations and process scale\-up.

* Experience supporting CAPEX projects and commissioning activities.

* Experience with advanced data analytics, digital process monitoring, process modelling, machine learning applications, simulation software, or advanced process control is highly desirable.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Fluent in English.

* Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
