Responsibilities ###

• Design and specify instrumentation and field devices for process, utility, and infrastructure systems in compliance with GMP and industry standards
• Select and define measurement technologies including pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments, and control valves
• Prepare and maintain instrumentation documentation, including data sheets, loop diagrams, instrument indexes, and calibration records
• Manage and maintain instrumentation engineering data within COMOS
• Support the integration of field devices into DCS, PLC, SIS, and process control systems
• Coordinate and oversee installation activities while ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality requirements
• Plan, execute, document, and troubleshoot loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities
• Support startup, qualification, and handover of new and modified systems
• Execute GMP qualification activities, including IQ/OQ documentation and testing using UBIK and Kneat
• Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions

Profile ###

• Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience in instrumentation engineering within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation design, field devices, calibration principles, and process measurement technologies
• Experience with engineering documentation and data management in COMOS
• Knowledge of process control systems and field device integration
• Experience with commissioning, loop testing, and startup support activities
• Familiarity with GMP environments and GxP documentation requirements
• Experience with qualification tools such as UBIK and Kneat is advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• English and/or German proficiency
