EI&C Engineer – Automation / DeltaV (m/f/d)

Techfirm Engineering is looking for an EI&C Engineer – Automation / DeltaV (m/f/d) to join our Engineering team in Switzerland.

As an EI&C Engineer – Automation / DeltaV, you will contribute to the design, implementation, qualification, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems within highly regulated pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing environments.

You will work on challenging engineering projects involving Instrumentation, Automation, DeltaV, FAT/SAT, Commissioning, and GMP, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary project teams.

What You Will Do :

-Design, specify, and implement Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) systems for pharmaceutical and industrial facilities.

-Work on automation and control systems, with a strong focus on DeltaV.

-Develop and review technical specifications, control concepts, instrumentation documentation, and engineering deliverables.

-Support the implementation and integration of automation and instrumentation systems throughout the project lifecycle.

-Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.

-Support qualification and validation activities within a GMP-regulated environment.

-Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Automation teams.

-Participate in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving activities.

-Ensure compliance with applicable GMP requirements, engineering standards, and safety regulations.

-Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of automation and control systems.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

-Electrical Engineering

-Automation Engineering

-Control Engineering

-Instrumentation

-Industrial Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.

Experience

-3+ years of experience in EI&C, Automation, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.

-Professional experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or highly regulated industrial environment.

Proven experience with:

-DeltaV

-Instrumentation

-Automation / Control Systems

-FAT / SAT

-Commissioning

-GMP environments

Languages & Requirements

• German: fluent / professional level required.

• English: good professional level required.
