YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ##

The Group Controller reports directly to the Group CFO and supports the financial management and decision-making processes of the Group. The role combines financial performance analysis with a strong project-oriented component, supporting and cross-functional initiatives at Group level. Key areas of responsibility include consolidated and entity-level performance analysis, financial evaluation of strategic initiatives and the implementation of Group-wide projects and reporting processes.

  • Analyse commercial and operational performance, with a particular focus on sales development, gross margin and profitability, operating expenses, working capital and purchasing performance.
  • Identify and explain deviations from budget, forecast and prior-year results, highlighting key business drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial analyses, management reports, presentations and decision-support materials for the Group CFO and senior management.
  • Support and coordinate cross-functional projects sponsored by the Group CFO, working with local entities and Group functions to define objectives, collect and analyse relevant information, monitor progress and prepare recommendations for management.
  • Develop business cases and financial evaluations for strategic projects, investments and organizational restructuring initiatives.
  • Contribute to the improvement and standardization of financial and operational processes across the Group, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, automation and transparency.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses based on requests from the Group CFO and senior management.
  • Support in projects by preparing and coordinating the financial, operational and corporate documentation required for due diligence, transaction assessment and other stages of the process.
  • Coordinate the Group insurance portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for subsidiaries, insurance brokers and other external stakeholders. Support policy renewals, collection of exposure data, coverage reviews and claims-related activities.

YOUR PROFILE ##

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in audit, advisory, controlling or corporate finance, preferably including experience within a Big Four firm.
  • Ability to analyse complex financial and operational data and translate findings into clear management insights.
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; experience with ERP and consolidation systems, as well as Power BI or similar business-intelligence tools, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance teams across different countries.
  • Structured, analytical and proactive approach, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus; additional European languages are an advantage.
