Forward Deployed Engineer - Data and AI Applications

You embed with domain teams to turn data and research problems into working applications, building end-to-end solutions on a data platform from prototype through production.

Tasks

• Embed with domain teams to define success criteria and translate needs into shipped capabilities
• Design and implement data pipelines, transformations and ontology alignment on the platform
• Build user-facing applications and integrate with upstream and downstream systems
• Define data quality checks and document assumptions and limitations
• Support deployment, monitoring and ongoing improvement of production applications
• Partner with product managers, data scientists and governance teams to align scope and standards
• Create reusable templates and components to accelerate future deliveries

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in biomedical research, bioengineering, bioinformatics or related domain
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry building pipelines, ontology, applications and access controls
• Experience delivering software, data or analytics products in a fast-paced, user-facing environment
• Strong programming skills across data and application layers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Offer

• Hybrid work, 3 days per week in the office
• 3–6 months interim, then a permanent position
