Tasks ##

• Support and develop our business applications, including ERP and CRM systems.
• Ensure data quality and oversee reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Serve as a key contact for finance-related application inquiries and process optimizations.

Skills ##

• Degree in Business Informatics or similar; experience in application support preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.

Business Application Specialist (m/f/d)

What you will achieve:

Applications

Operation, support and further development of our business applications (ERP, finance, CRM and DMS systems)

Handling incidents, implementing service requests as well as continuous optimisations and upgrades

Data & Business Intelligence

Support of data integrations and interfaces as well as ensuring data quality

Building and further developing reporting and BI solutions (Power BI) as well as conducting analyses and evaluations (SQL)

AI-supported development

Development of small tools, automations and prototypes with modern AI coding assistants

Use of AI to increase efficiency in data analysis, reporting and process optimisations

Business & Processes

Contact person for the specialist departments (especially Finance & Controlling) for application-related questions

Recording, analysing and implementing requirements as well as continuous optimisation of business processes

What you bring with you:

Completed studies in business informatics (FH/Uni) or a comparable qualification

Experience in operating or supporting business applications, ideally ERP

Good SQL skills and experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI

Practical experience with AI coding tools and enthusiasm for implementing solutions quickly and pragmatically

Basic knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Python or PowerShell) and experience with Infor, d.velop d.3 or Lobster are advantageous

Very good understanding of business processes as well as independent and structured working style

Very good German and good English skills
