Software Engineer Flight Test

This role covers front and backend development of web-based services and custom software for automated measurement data and video processing within a flight test department.

Tasks

• Develop front and backend of web-based services used within the flight test department
• Update and further develop custom software for automated measurement data and video processing
• Manage code repositories, python packages and CI/CD pipelines
• Interact with IT department on identity management, cloud integrations and storage
• Support flight test operations by capturing recorded data and videos and monitoring automatic processing

Profile

• Higher level of education in Information Technology or an Engineering discipline
• Experience in software or web development, Linux server and Docker
• Good spoken and written English and German language skills
• Motivation to learn on the go and integrate solutions with a high level of autonomy
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to build something from idea to execution

Offer

• 3–6 months interim, then a permanent position
