System Support Engineer

Travel:possibly 10% annually

Role \& Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert and primary point of contact for internal customers regarding all service aspects
• Install Diagnostics systems (hardware and software) across all development phases\-including early prototypes\-as well as according to installation manuals in the Diagnostics Knowledge (RDK) database
• Perform system qualifications (IQ/OQ), execute preventive maintenance, and conduct autonomous troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software issues
• Manage the deployment and servicing of various systems and their specific configurations
• Ensure comprehensive documentation in accordance with established quality standards
• Provide technical support for global development trials

Candidate Profile

• HF or university degree in an engineering or life sciences discipline (e.g., Medical Devices, Electronics/Automation, Mechatronics) or completed technical vocational training with relevant practical experience
• Initial experience in, or clear willingness to work in, a highly regulated industry and in laboratories with biosafety levels S1 and S2
• First hands\-on experience in a technical or mechanical occupation
• Customer\- and service\-oriented team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, featuring an autonomous and proactive work style
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; is a plus for the Rotkreuz site

Nice to Haves:

• knowledge of network administration and IT troubleshooting
• experience servicing diagnostic instruments or involvement in equipment management
• Practical experience resolving technical issues across interdisciplinary setups (hardware, software, and laboratory workflows)
• Previous experience working in a GMP or ISO\-regulated environment
