Expert Platform & Systems Engineer

This role provides hands-on technical leadership for a cloud-ready application platform and its DevOps foundations, bridging hardware and software engineering for automated lab systems.

Tasks

• Own and evolve the shared platform behind locally deployed, cloud-ready applications
• Implement reusable foundations for hosting, identity, configuration, data, messaging and security
• Own DevOps across the software suite including pipelines, deployment automation and release traceability
• Define installation, upgrade, rollback, diagnostics and support processes for customer deployments
• Lead system-level hardware/software integration decisions on protocols, interfaces and diagnostics
• Lead through implementation, prototypes, reviews and mentoring, partnering with architects

Profile

• Typically 12+ years of software engineering experience with expert-level technical leadership
• Deep hands-on experience with C# / .NET and modern backend or web development
• Strong Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience across build, test, security, packaging and deployment
• Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience, particularly Terraform
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, orchestration, identity, messaging and observability
• Experience across hardware, firmware, protocols, device software and application boundaries
• Strong proficiency in English required
