We are looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d) 100% - Zurich ###

Your area of responsibility

• Supporting the head chef in the operational and administrative management of the kitchen
• Leading, promoting and coordinating the kitchen team in the absence of the head chef
• Ensuring consistently high quality of all dishes as well as hygiene and quality standards
• Active participation in shaping and further developing the culinary offerings, including in the fine-dining sector
• Co-responsibility for inventory management, purchasing, stocktaking and cost calculations
• Ensuring smooth workflows and continuous optimisation of kitchen processes
• Working hours: Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 17:00; occasional shifts at evening events and functions

Your profile

• Completed training as a chef with a federal diploma or a comparable gastronomic qualification
• Several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy, ideally in the fine-dining environment
• Initial leadership experience and enthusiasm for supporting and developing employees
• High quality standards and a keen sense for taste, presentation and details
• Structured, reliable and resilient personality with a hands-on mentality
• Calm, composed and quality-conscious even in hectic situations
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
