Senior Planning Manager

CSC Costruzioni SA is looking for a Senior Planning Manager to join the team delivering our project at the United Nations Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, monitoring, and control of the project schedule, ensuring contractual deadlines are achieved while supporting project leadership through effective planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and monitor the overall project schedule using Primavera P6.

Manage project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and recovery plans.

Coordinate planning activities across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Track progress, analyze schedule deviations, and prepare regular reports for management and the client.

Support delay analysis, claims management, and Extension of Time (EOT) procedures.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, subcontractors, and international stakeholders.

Monitor project KPIs and provide accurate forecasts on project performance.

Requirements

Master’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

A PhD and/or professional certifications (e.g., RICS) will be considered an advantage.

More than 20 years of experience in construction planning and project controls.

Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large and complex construction projects.

Experience on international projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Experience in institutional buildings, data centers, infrastructure, or highly MEP-intensive projects is considered a strong asset.

Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.

Strong understanding of integrated project scheduling, project controls, delay analysis, claims management, and EOT processes.

Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Project, and Lean Construction methodologies is desirable.

Languages: Fluent English, Italian and German. Knowledge of French will be considered a plus.
