Tasks ##

• Manage the Einwohnerregister and all registration processes.
• Oversee document issuance from the Einwohnerregister.
• Lead the AHV/IV branch and customer service operations.

Skills ##

• Completed commercial training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in municipal administration, ideally in Einwohnerdienste.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

For our resident services, the position of HEAD OF RESIDENT SERVICES FULL-TIME 100% is to be newly filled as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

The main tasks include

• Management of the resident register with all registration-related processes
• Issuance of various documents and identity cards from the resident register
• Management of the AHV/IV branch office, health insurance control office including case management and IPV as well as dog control office
• Management of the funeral and cemetery superintendent office
• Training of apprentices in the role of practical trainer
• Customer contact at the counter and by telephone

Your competencies

• Completed apprenticeship as a commercial clerk EFZ or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in a municipal or city administration, preferably in the area of resident services
• Enjoyment in contact with the public
• Ability to remain calm even in hectic situations
• Independent and reliable working style
• Good manners and communication skills
• Confidentiality and discretion
• Willingness to complete the course "Specialist in Resident Services" if not already obtained

At the level of department management (middle management), you will lead a young and motivated team with one employee and one apprentice.
