Tasks ##

• Support residents in physical, social, and mental health aspects.
• Foster respectful, resource-oriented relationships with residents.
• Mentor up to two learners while actively shaping daily activities.

Skills ##

• Completed healthcare training (EFZ) or equivalent; 2+ years experience.
• Empathy and patience with individuals having cognitive disabilities.
• Ability to share practical knowledge and promote learner growth.

You support our residents in their physical, social, and mental health. In doing so, you focus on a resource-oriented and respectful relationship. As a committed professional, you gladly take on responsibility, share your knowledge, and actively participate in daily life activities. As a vocational trainer, you support and accompany up to two apprentices.

You bring: ###

• Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or equivalent
• At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the dementia field
• Completed course for vocational trainers or willingness to attend one
• Enjoyment in supporting and promoting apprentices and the ability to convey knowledge practically
• You are empathetic and patient with people with cognitive impairments
• You place the residents and their needs at the centre

About dandelion ###

At the dandelion care centre for people with dementia in Basel, 60 residents are cared for and supported in seven living groups according to a milieu-therapeutic approach. Additionally, up to 12 guests attend our specialised day structure daily.
