Welcome to our Neurology department. Our ward is staffed by a motivated nursing team of around 40 employees, including trainees and students, who dedicate themselves with great commitment and joy to the care of up to 40 patients. We care for people after a stroke and with Parkinson-s disease as well as other neurological conditions in the acute and rehabilitation phases. We value holistic, individual care in an exciting, interprofessional team. We work according to the principles of Lean Management.

Your duties

Ensuring effective, patient- and outcome-oriented care in collaboration with the qualified nursing staff according to existing care plans and within the scope of professional competencies

Maintaining cleanliness and order in patient rooms, utility and work areas, contributing to a homely, tidy and comfortable environment for patients and guests

Assessing care situations and initiating appropriate responses in acute situations

Conducting simple, everyday advice regarding nutrition, personal hygiene and clothing

Maintaining comprehensive care documentation as well as recording all services provided

Participating in projects and supporting the department management and the entire team to ensure the best possible care quality

Organising patient transports and escorts

Providing a hospitable service, especially regarding meal preparation and service

Your profile

Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ

Professional experience in acute care or rehabilitation desired

Flexible, resilient and motivated personality with great empathy and excellent interpersonal skills
