The Senior Business Manager of the Chief Operating Office (COO) supports the Private Bank Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) COO and leadership team in driving the effective management and delivery of the EMEA COO agenda. What you'll do: The Senior Business Manager COO Office is a high\-impact business\-management role within the Private Bank EMEA COO Office. The role combines executive\-management support, structured problem\-solving and hands\-on delivery of key priorities. You'll bring strong commercial judgement, sound organisational skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear priorities and practical action. In this role, you'll: * Drive the EMEA COO agenda by translating priorities into clear actions, milestones and outcomes * Orchestrate key priorities, ensuring momentum, accountability, follow\-through and effective escalation * Prepare executive materials, communications and decision papers for senior leadership forums * Lead strategic and business\-management topics from analysis and problem definition through to implementation * Manage the COO management rhythm, including leadership meetings, priority reviews and commitment tracking * Act as a trusted partner and central coordinator, aligning stakeholders across businesses, functions and markets You should apply if you have: * A strong track record in business management, a Chief Operating Office, management consulting or a related discipline * Experience working cross\-functionally with senior executives in a complex financial\-services or similarly regulated environment * Strong project\-management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, create structure and ensure execution without requiring formal authority * Confidence working with senior stakeholders while remaining hands\-on, pragmatic and delivery\-focused * A high level of ownership and initiative, anticipating what's needed rather than waiting for direction * Strong judgement, discretion and interpersonal skills, with the ability to become a trusted partner to the COO and COO leadership team * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, executive\-ready content * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous topics quickly and translate them into actionable solutions * Proficiency in relevant Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams * Due to immigration restrictions in Switzerland, we'll only be able to consider applications from Swiss or European Union (EU) citizens, or candidates holding a valid Swiss work permit *Even if you don't meet 100% of the qualifications, we encourage you to apply if you believe this role is right for you.* For further information on building your career at HSBC, please visit: [in a new tab, external link)](\< \>) . \#LI\-HSBC jpid24f9003jm jpit1145jm jpiy26jm
