Your Purpose ###

As a Multimedia Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all multimedia equipment and systems function flawlessly aboard the ship. Your work will directly support the entertainment, marketing, and technical departments, playing a key role in creating seamless multimedia experiences for our guests. You-ll be at the heart of an ever-evolving entertainment landscape, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, assembling and editing video content, and supporting various multimedia projects from start to finish. Every day will be an exciting challenge that contributes to the overall success and enjoyment of the cruise experience.

Your Journey So Far ###

Here-s what we-re looking for: 

Hands-On Multimedia Production Experience: You have practical experience in multimedia production, particularly in video editing and content creation. 

Proficiency in Video Editing Software: You are skilled in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms, with a strong ability to assemble and edit content for different purposes. 

Expertise in Post-Production Processes: You possess a comprehensive understanding of post-production workflows, including editing, audio mixing, color grading, and media formatting to deliver high-quality outputs. 

Multimedia Tools and Technology Knowledge: You are familiar with a range of multimedia tools and technologies, from video production to advanced Smart Ship systems, and are adept at using them to deliver seamless multimedia experiences. 

Strong Communication Skills in English: You have a solid command of the English language, which enables you to effectively collaborate with international teams and communicate technical details clearly 

Your Essentials ###

To succeed in this role, you-ll need: 

Fluency in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Multimedia Production Expertise: Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and media production tools. 

Post-Production Experience: Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, audio mixing, and media formatting. 

Technical Skills: Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining multimedia equipment and Smart Ship technologies (audio/visual systems, media servers, broadcast equipment). 

Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to respond quickly to issues and provide creative solutions in a frenetic environment. 

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution of multimedia projects. 

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting team goals. 

Previous Experience: Experience in a cruise line or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
