QA Specialist
Job description:
As a QA Logistic Specialist, you will ensure that incoming materials are verified and qualified in accordance with applicable GMP requirements, corporate standards and established service agreements.
Based onsite in Visp five days per week, you will oversee the quality and compliance of material receipt, qualification and release activities. You will maintain accurate raw material information within the relevant systems, monitor associated KPIs and ensure the timely escalation of quality risks and critical issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing incoming material verification according to applicable procedures
Establishing and maintaining raw material suppliers, SOPs and relevant systems
Managing the qualification of materials used in the manufacturing process
Conducting physical verification of incoming raw materials and coordinating their release in LIMS
Managing quality alerts and change notifications from internal stakeholders and raw material suppliers
Managing deviations and changes related to materials
Collecting and organizing KPIs linked to material qualification and release services
Escalating critical quality issues in a timely manner
Ensuring continuous compliance with GMP requirements
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline
Professional experience within pharmaceutical quality assurance, material qualification or a comparable GMP\-regulated environment
Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality management systems
Experience with incoming material verification, raw material qualification and release processes
Knowledge of quality systems, particularly SAP and LIMS
Experience managing deviations, CAPAs and change controls
Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities, including in high\-pressure situations
Proficient written and spoken English
Availability to work onsite in Visp five days per week
Nice to have
Knowledge of German
Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or logistics quality assurance
Experience managing raw material suppliers and supplier\-related quality notifications
